"Found this restaurant by accident and boy were we thrilled! Greeted by the most friendly and attentive host , food was authentic and very tasty. The place is small but very clean. Food arrived quickly, a perfectly chilled beer was an added bonus. Must eat here if you’re in Athens."

"A small restaurants with seven tables, be prepared to wait if you visit during peak times. The food will however make up for it, the dumplings were juicy and delicious, the special fried rice was amazing and the twice cooked pork belly was great. It woke up our taste buds, we will be back again! We visited a second time, on our last day in Athens, did not disappoint!"

"Eating at East Pearl was an amazing experience. My wife and I woke up and we were craving Chinese food. We performed a search in Athens and East Pearl had some great reviews. We decided to check it out and it did not disappoint. Joel was an amazing server. He was attentive and quick to respond to all of our needs. The food was phenomenal. We enjoy spicy food so we ordered the Sichuan Beef (Spicy). It was flavorful and had a nice kick. The pork dumplings were delicious. The Thai Shrimp was rich and hearty. And the Hot & Sour Soup was great as well. Great meal and service. We would definitely return!"

"Fabulous Chinese restaurant - we ate here two times in a row. As excellent a chef as you could find anywhere in China. Very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. "One of the most authentic tasting Chinese restaurants I have ever had outside of China. The spices and oils that they use for their cooking tastes the most similar to what you’d find in Beijing. Incredible food, attentive and warm service and everything was fairly priced with massive portions. The mapo tofu was stellar, perfectly salty, spicy and mouth numbing and the fried eggplant was insane. I’ve never had a sauce that delicious and addictive before. We also had the 酸菜鱼 (pickled vegetables fish soup) which was incredibly hearty and refreshing, and the fish used was so fresh, soft and not overcooked at all! A lovely spot if you’ve been missing Chinese food while away on your European adventure!"

"I am so happy to find a good Asian restaurant in athen! After being so disappointed by all the other places I tried, I stumbled into this one and was so pleasantly surprised First, all the workers are Chinese - they cook with long chopsticks, high heat, woks, bamboo steamers. All good signs The traditional hot eggplant dish was to die for! Coming from Los Angeles and having eaten many Chinese eggplant dishes, this was definitely up there on one of the best of this dish I also got the pork with garlic per the servers recommendation. Was also good - both dishes were a bit sweeter than what I usually am used to so I asked for their chili oil and wow! It was fresh and spicy! I’m used to Kay restaurants serving stale store bought chili oil but they had a great seemingly fresh chili oil Pork mushroom shumai were flavorful, juicy, and perfect bites! Highly recommend if you want Asian food in Athens. Can’t recommend many other places to be honest!"
